In December, CareAlign was Named to CB Insights 2022 Digital Health 150 List for our achievements in care coordination and collaboration. The list highlights the 150 most promising digital health start-ups.
CareAlign won first place in the AMIA 25×5 Pitch Competition, which focused on technology solutions to reduce documentation burden. Our pitch focused on our collaborative, iterative wiki space that allows clinicians to add information and tasks throughout the day. Then, this information can be sorted, filtered, and reordered to generate a patient note that can be easily put into the EHR. This eliminates duplicative work and allows clinicians to #WriteItOnce.
This year, our Founder & CEO Subha Airan-Javia, MD, FAMIA started co-hosting an educational video series on burnout, called Sharp Conversations. Dr. Airan-Javia and her co-host, Janae Sharp, interviewed many great leaders in healthcare to discuss solutions for addressing clinician burnout. You can check out the interview series here.
Speaking of Dr. Airan-Javia, she also spoke at many conferences and health systems throughout the year. Her presentations focused on many topics, including improving documentation capture, enhancing collaboration, and reducing documentation burden and burnout. Missed out on hearing her speak? We entered an exciting partnership with Tandigm Health this year. CareAlign is helpling Tandigm Health with transitions of care across clinical settings, particularly with Skilled Nursing Facilities. Our platform allows the entire clinical team to view the patient wiki in real time, regardless of their physical location or EHR, allowing for better collaboration as patients transition from one setting to another.
